Proponents don't seem to believe that there exists an attraction to feminine symbols separate from attraction to real females. For them, normal attraction is masculine and heterosexual, everything else is pathological. Male sexuality is threatening and needs to be controlled, especially when it doesn't conform to social standards.
In reality, males exist along an entire spectrum of sexual and social behaviors and gender roles probably play a part in creating emasculation fantasies.

Well, I personally associate being fem or androgynous with looking like a girl as much as possible; since I'm straight, it's like what I find attractive is also what I want for myself. I guess this is different from a tranny because I'm OK with being a man most of the time.
My preferences aside, I think it's almost an objective conclusion that having more hair makes you look more fem and more neotenous, so if that is your goal, I would recommend you grow it as long as you can (or want to). Even if your goal isn't to look like a girl, having only long bangs can really shave some years off of your complexion.

I'm not on spiro or any AA and I've already got some gynecomastia going on, at around 3 years of this. My testosterone is at castration levels because I've got useless balls. I don't think I would mind low-key feminization because I'm already pretty effeminate in appearance and I like it. I wouldn't ever want to go full girl or grow too much in the chest, so I'd keep it low dose.
The main thing I wonder about SERMs is whether they have the same effects on mineral absorption as normal human sex hormones.
