Minoxidil is more a regrowth serum and finasteride just another specialized AA. If your DHT is already low from HRT you cannot expect much from finasteride.

It does not, no. Worst side effect is that initially you probably start shedding, then once you discontinue using it your hair will return to the state it wouldve been in without minox, meaning all new hair is gonna fall out again.
Might also wanna rethink your hair care routine cause minox is like 96% or so ethanol.
