The whole bathroom debate is just depressing. I've just tuned it out for that exact reason, don't want to think about how other people would react if they knew I was trans just because the average person doesn't seem very accepting.
Also, fuck that person at the pharmacy, were they just looking at your file and saw something that made them think "let's deny the trans person their meds"? Good on you for standing your ground, but that honestly makes me mad that pharmacists of all people would act that way. I've gotten stares and prying questions, but never that kinda shit.
