Are you cute?

>tfw 31m dating 61m handsome salt&pepper fireman
Do you put yourself out there? Are you sane?
>>6160143
>I'm pretty shy and introverted desu
That shouldn't matter too much. By "out there" I mean more dating sites/apps/etc, not so much bars. In my experience dating older guys, they like energy/vitality but not manifested as drama/chaos/drugs. Be able to hold a conversation about travel, geography, politics, film... Shit like memes, pop music, cool new clubs, video games, etc doesn't fly so much as it would with your friends or other young people.
Also dress nicely. Smart casual all day every day.

a 61 year old fireman? what?
>>6160156
Well desu he left recently, but his last few years were in hazmat after he was dealing with some PTSD. Was in the fire service from about 30 to 60.
>>6160159
a 60 year old fireman? what the fuck? why do they allow that?
>>6160166
Do you not understand what hazmat is? If you stop being so deliberately retarded and cunty I can explain it to you.
They act as a support role at fires, refilling breathing apparatuses and other replenishment stuff, rather than running into burning buildings. They also attend drug labs, chemical spills, things like that as clean-up crew and providing support to police.
Good luck finding someone with that petulant attitude though.
>>6160172
I was just exagerating, not trying to be petulant or anything, no need to get ruffled for nothing.
>>6160170
>But goddamn, I feel like some of them look down on me for being on the younger side. Like I lack maturity/experience and whatnot, which isn't really untrue since they're technically years ahead of me, but it's still frustrating to think about.
I used to have a Gaydar profile when I was single, and in my early days I just included "Not much experience" in my profile. Upfront, honest, undramatic. Nobody minded, and some thought it was endearing.
