I have a serious question that some may consider bait.
I've been watching TED talks about gene editing and the CRISPR gene.
Basically in a few decades we'll be making chimeras, and have the ability to alter our genes.
I've always wanted to be a lizard man, not on the scale of those idiots that say "you're sitting on my tail" and otherkin sort of people, but, to have scales and slit pupils and whatnot. With gene editing that'll be possible. I feel like a piece of shit in a human body, and that I wasn't born in the wrong time.
So, what elevates a transperson's struggle above mine? If I say it to anyone I seem like a schizo and I get zero support from anyone, but it's not like I'm going to be able to do anything until the science is there for it.
Also, what are your thoughts on gene editing and "designer humans"?

I mean I'm not against it go for it if it ever becomes a possibility I think designer humans would be cool to see plus being trans lizard person is better then trans-racial

Gender dysphoria has a biological basis. Regardless of your beliefs and thoughts on dysphoria the truth is males and females are not that different, lizards and humans on the other hand are very different, it's not the same thing at all.

In a few decades the technology will theoretically be there, add a few more for testing and perfectioning and then add a century for legal implementation, angry mobs to be okay with it and having some kind of power figure that will choose to destroy their career aproving this because they just hate being a polititian or something.
Did you know that no laboratory is putting money into aids vaccination because there's still no clear discovery that would secure a product in less than 2 years? The market is stronger than any particular interest, even when it's the future market (we wouldn't have economic bubbles otherwise)
