yeah, I suppose its kind of empty sometimes looking at it as a string of chance in a pool of numbers. It just soothes the feeling of failure I carry around, it stops being me being a failure and a loser but opening up a new field of opportunities i may not have had in that moment of success. Did some stuff, still have to drive somewhere in a bit but I wanted to say thanks mtfg. I did really want to learn how to play guitar but my mom and step dad always told me I would have had to get lessons from 5 years old on or earlier so always told me I could never even try. I really like thrash and doom metal and always wanted to learn. So one of my goals when I move out in a month will be to buy my favorite style entry level guitar and learn to play whenever I have free time. First benefit is I will be not concentrating on how horrible I look all the time just sitting in the dark hating myself, second is I may even have some dare I say fun from learning it. Depends on the day, but certainly I used to hate it a lot more. It's isolating, no cis person understands the feeling, and nowadays if you say mix of male and female the more left leaning ones might assume you're memegender.
