my goto languages for writing quick things is javascript or python. i think es6 and es7 features make js a useable language and modern js engines make it a very fast. the archiver is written in go which is a fun language. instead of having to deal with the event loop in something like node, you can write your code synchronously and have all the concurrent goodies because greenthreads are cool beans
i used to mainly be a c/c++ developer for years though. i did systems and driver stuff as well as reversing. in the end language doesnt really matter that much, its just the right tool for the right job.

heh, writing code in any language doesnt require knowing math. actually, you can get really far just knowing basic algebra! it depends on what kind of thing youre writing. writing code and understanding computer architecture (not needed but if you want to be a good programmer in languages like c, you have to have a mental model what your code gets translated into and what it does) may seem pretty complicated but really theyre quite easy they just require some context and a bit of background knowledge to understand them. math is the same way really. i bet i could teach you basic calculus faster than you might think ;D
i think math education just doesnt work for some people. it didnt for me and it makes it seem really scary for some. i taught myself everything i know and now i have a minor in mathematics. my major was electrical engineering and taking ce, ee, and physics classes was cool but i realized it wasnt what i wanted to do for a living (i mean, you can be a ee programmer but w/e) and that i could be in a major thats a lot more fitting for me. programming and math both rely on abstraction as the core mechanism for how they get things done. once you learn how to manage abstraction they both seem a lot less complicated. that probably sounds pretty weird, im just doing a braindump right now
also i make an alright amount. im working at a small startup founded by a faculty member at my university and its really flexible but doesnt pay a crazy amount. ive been offered good jobs at larger companies but i want to finish my education first. really its just getting that stupid piece of paper

I always tended to be depressed, and always was afraid of taking matters into my own hands, also what really led to my breakdown was breaking up with my boyfriend, failing miserably in a business venture, and being estranged from my children from my marriage....Maybe it was a lot to take on, and I always knew the risks were high. the thing is I think that maybe with some surgeries, getting implants and electrolisys/laser for my body hair would have been better.
