Don't try to do something even cis females mess up, which is wearing clothes made for models without losing weight. (I know this sounds mean but it helps you pass A LOT to wear clothes that fit, I used to be chubby and just presented andro before losing weight, wore baggy hoodies and stuff.)

Your body will burn fat and part of it is in your butt. What you get through squats is muscle-butt, not fat-butt, which looks infinitely better and is way more squeezeable and sensitive.
