I'm not from an English speaking country or even a Commonwealth country but I ended up learning English fluently on my own over the years. The thing is, I learned American English in boy mode. But now when I try to speak English while practicing my girl voice it seems to naturally swing more to British English. I could correct it, of course, but there are two things to consider: 1) I really don't like how American women sound when they talk (they sound like ducks, desu) and 2) I like the demarcation between my boy self and girl self.

We barely knew each other for few months when she told me she was into me and kinda wanted a relationship, I was trying to get her life on rails back then, introducing her friends, telling her to study, helping her with all the trans stuff, taking her out and basically rebuilding the life she lost years ago. I wanted her to have a more normal life before she even tries to take the next step.
On the other hand, I was extremly suicidal back then, I think I was still into cutting myself back then and I didnt wanted to drag her into my horrible life (which have got a bit better these last weeks).

Every trans person I've had a conversation with eventually wants to explain in depth their own pet theory as to how it works or their own justification. Either their brain was exposed to too much estrogen in the womb or they were born with, essentially, the part of the brain that makes gender set to female or whatever. It's normally older ones too.
