is the mentality that is damning. Women do not find being "a lowered standard" at all appealing, in general, and that holds true for trans women.
Your best bet for a healthy relationship (one day) is to have a more positive outlook on your potential partners, and to decouple your sense of worth from having one, and the "value" of your partner.
You're looking for someone who is good for you (and who you can be good for) - not the optimal partner according to some social metric that exists irrespective of you and your potential partners.

I'm a transbian myself and I think that's fucking retarded. I never had any problem getting women before, and being a girl has made finding girls a lot harder, not easier. not only am I stuck finding women who like women (which only comprise like 5% of the female population) but I have to find lesbians/bi women who specifically like transwomen too. being a gay trans person cuts your dating pool down to like 1/50th of what it was as a straight cis person, that should be obvious to anyone who knows statistics and basic logic. if you're luck with women is already so bad that you're a 30 year old virgin or whatever, it's just going to be 50 times worse when you transition.
