Not really, she was a prominent assistant of Charles Babbage, and remarkably accomplished for a woman of her time, but I definitely wouldn't call her the inventor of the computer. Well... on the one hand, I understand how that can bother you. The fear of sjw-types just claming they're trans as a way of getting attention and sympathy, which cheapens your own struggle. On the other, for transpeople during all of human history except developed countries in the last few decades, that's just been and to some degree still is the way things are. To claim you can't be trans without hrt or transition is to delimit transgenderism to the geoghraphical spaces, the historical times and economic classes where such actions are possible - but this is not the case, as evidence seems to suggest it's a pretty universial human thing. HRT and transition may be the ideal, but it shouldn't be the requirement.
