I'm lez and nearly hate every LGBT movie that's out there.
But Happy Together is in a different league. It's such a universal story, really sad and not in a typical two ded faggots kind of way. It's just a story about a couple trying to make it work and failing. Really beautiful film. One of my top favorites in film and in Wong Kar Wai's films.

This one isnt exactly "happy" but it certainly isnt sad. It is pretty much an Argentine gay bonnie and clyde loosely based on a real story.
Don't remember the name of the movie, but it's set in WW2 and it's about a US soldier that's part of a group that liberates a small town, and how soldiers would take advantage of local women / girls who felt indebted to them, but this particular soldier took advantage of a boy, and the boy fell in love with him and was then heartbroken when he shipped out. Was overall a very very sad movie.

The book is far, far better. (And I'm not one of those people who likes to bandy that claim about, just to scream 'Yeah I read the book.' Isherwood's prose is just so good. The plot on its own falls pretty flat—i.e. the film does, on that account.)

Yeah, I really enjoyed this one. Netflix has a pretty flimsy selection these days. I liked it and this one too.
Obviously, Paris Is Burning is classic
Tangerine is brilliant, and the Xavier Dolan and Gregg Araki movies on there are quite good.

just watched this a few days ago. its good depending on your tastes- i like artsy shit and analyzing shots/placement/symbolism so I loved it but if youre into action and a lot of dialogue you prolly won't like it.
