With wax it is possible, but if you don't have experience it may be not totally effective and pretty painful. There are pre-made wax stripe specially for the face.
Would not recommend with an epilator, though.

Same effect but it's less harsh since you aren't ripping out all the hairs at once pretty much. I'd suggest buying an electric foil razor, they shave really close, about the same as normal razors, and you'd have enough on the battery to last 4 days easy
