What if you feel internal dysphoria but don't care what other people think of you? Like, I'm part-time trans on HRT and everything, but it doesn't bother me that I have to present as my birth gender to 99% of the people I interact with, and I don't know if I ever want to go full time.
Most people think I'm a guy, and that doesn't bother me. They're just wrong.

so glad I found out that crossdressing was also a straight thing in high school. I mean, I was in denial then, but at least I never doubted my gender status (even if I've never been a manly man). Not saying trans is bad, obviously, just recognizing how much easier it is being cis and confident about it.

I'm not >>5866750, and I can say that I agree with their point, up to the "privilege" thing.
What they probably should've told you as that transgender people have existed long before even the internet, nevermind tumblr.
Also, though I don't think men are more "privileged", there are some clear and distinct differences in how men and women are treated that trans people (assuming they pass anyway) are subjected to.
Men command more respect, by nature. This helps a lot in leadership positions, and is probably why there are more men in leadership position then there are women. (Though I am not saying that men are better or worse then women in those positions).
The downside to this is that men are pitied far less. If you are seen as a man, and you are having some sort of issue in the public (maybe you lost something, or are emotionally distraught for some reason) almost nobody will stop to help you.
Women, on the other hand, can gain more pity and envy, but less overall respect. If a woman were having some sort of issue in public, there is the chance that some stranger will come to help her.
