Well, I noticed I had a resemblance to my mother in my childhood from looking at childhood photos. Years after those photos, I'm 6 months in to HRT, and I don't think I look much like my mother though my aunt told me I look like my mother. I've definitely got her large jaw though, (sadly) enhanced by testosterone. I'll weigh in on this if that's okay. I've known a few guys who use acid as if it were therapeutic but the two times I did it in highschool were nearly the worst experiences of my life concerning the anxiety and depression it caused.
They said maybe my environment was wrong, or maybe I'm just one of those people that it harms instead of helps.
What I did gain from the experiences though is realizing how fragile the mind and perception is. If anything it just gave me a lot of doubt for the rest of my life.
