Like I say i'm no expert, i'm just going through the same situation as you (mtf). Some things I guess you could do would be: If you have enough confidence, pluck your eyebrows and try and get a more fem shape (don't do it in one sitting, just slowly fine tune it until you're happy) or get a friend/family member to help if you have supportive family/friends. Try thinking about your wardrobe and what sort of clothes you would like to wear while you are transitioning. think about what might make you look more andro, whether hat's brighter cloured clothing, more fem looking outerwear, or some kind of jewellery. Also try shaving your body if you haven't already tried that (btw, rubbing conditioner into your skin while having a shower and then getting out, and putting on moisturiser prior to shaving cream will help to give a smoother shave. Also really invest in getting a good skin care routine down (HRT will help your skin, but taking extra care of it wouldn't hurt). If you bite your nails but want to hae long nails eventually or you bite your lip a lot it wouldn't hurt to try and get out of the habbit sooner rather than later. Also try train yourself to walk more fem if you have a pretty manly walk. and other things like try to talk with your hands more and try to use your pitch variation as opposed to varying your loudness quite so much when you're talking as men tend to vary volume, while women tend to vary pitch when they are "involved" (can't think of a good word for it) in what they are saying. And just do what ever makes you feel more feminine. There's probably loads more you could do but those are just some of the things that I can think of right now. I hope everything works out for you, and know that even though I don't know you, I love and care about you :3

I'm going to be honest with you, I onl;y actually started hormones a couple months ago myself (despite having told all my friends and family nearly 6 months ago now) due to many different reasons. I don't fail boy mode yet but my acne has pretty much cleared up and fucked off by this point and I do get told by friends of friends that I look very feminine but that's more than likely down to the combination of eyebrow plucking, lack of body/facial hair, tiny tiny amounts of foundation and eyeliner (put it on and then take like 90% of it off so it's just barely noticable and highlights my eyes), a more feminine wardrobe and my naturally fem mannerisms (way I smoke, walk, sit, stand etc). I have put on makeup before and I've been told that I look like a girl and not a boy in makeup, but that was from friends so hugboxing might be the case. Like>>5784939
says, it really does depend on the individual. Some people take really well of HRT, and Others it can take a lot longer. Just bare in mind that some people still see changes even 3-4 years down the line and you will almost certainly be able to see the difference if you compare a picture from now, 6 months from now and 4 years from now. As for the voice question that you originally mentioned and I forgot to answer. i can't really help you on that one because voice is the one thing that I have made almost no progress on right now. My best suggestion would be to look up different way in which to train your voice on youtube and try out different methods and pick and choose as to what works best for you and then make it a routine and dedicate a certain amount of time a day to it if you are able to. It's no problem at all. I'm white British and as for the acne for me it sort of comes in waves and so I can't really pin point it as I still occasionally have it come back for a few days but It's been a fairly gradual slope since I started and has only only really been within the last couple weeks that I looked in the mirror and was like "YES. Fuck you pizza face".
Passing really is a combination of many things like the amount of effort you put in, age and genetics. But I wouldn't worry about you age too much as there are tonnes of people who start around our age that pass wonderfully. It's hard to say exactly, but somewhere around after 20 kind of seems to be the start of the "danger zone" for not passing (god, that sounds horrible).
But at the end of the day, it's not something that can be changed and so it really is better not get caught up with it and just be happy that you're actually on hormones finally.
I'm in the same boat as you as for skirts and dresses and the like. I'm still going to dress fairly unisex even after I have transitioned, I like boyish/unisex fashion and at the end of the day, dress how you feel comfortable with. As you yourself begin to feel more like the person you truly are, your views on how you want to dress/makeup etc may change and that's fine. Just be yourself and don't give a fuck about what people might or might not think. Just remember that there is nothing wrong with doing what you enjoy and don't get caught up with being a stereotypical girl (unless that's what you want). If you still want to wear hoodies, go for it. If you don't like to wear nail polish, then don't. Granted, doing things like wearing girly clothes and makeup might help you pass but if you don't feel right doing it then you don't have to.
Just try your best to be who you are and don't let anybody stop you.

I can't really say for definate but I wouldn't worry about any slight differences in breast size between the two at this stage, i'm sure it's nothing to worry about. Are you self medicating? And do your family know and support you. If you truely are concerned about it I would suggest you go see a professional and talk to them about it, but personally I wouldn't be worried at the moment unless the right one is spurting puss and dragging on the floor. Your nipples will be very sensitive round about now and they will be for quite some time, but it should eventually die down. It's normal to have very sensitive nipples and it shows that the HRT is working it's magic. For some people it will be soar for 8 months before stopping. Others it can be a year and a half, it's not the best thing but It's a hell of a lot better than not being on HRT if you ask me :D. I have also read that caffeine can make it worse for some people. and that a bra can help as it stops your nipple from chaffing on the fabric of your shirt.

I feel for you, I'm extremely lucky to have parent's that wouldn't judge me even if I was a 90ft tall fire breathing dragon. I hope your parent's are understanding if/when you finally tell them. I completly understand where you're coming from with self medicating so you can just live your life right now (and so do so many people here), i'm self medicating myself. But one thing I would seriously reccomend if you are able to (please don't ask me on this one because unless you're in the UK, I won't be able to give you an answer) I would highly reccomend that you try and talk to your doctor and see if you can get blood tests so that you are able to monitor your levels. Self medicating can be dangerous if you don't know your levels. It also helps you to be able to adjust your dosage to suit you. some people need 100mg of estrogen while others may need 200mg etc. but you can't tell unless you get tests. and simply going from 100mg to 200mg of estrogen could even potentially be a pointless hazard to your health. I'm not trying to scare you, but please be careful. If you're not able to get blood tests I'm afraid I don't know what to suggest other than to look around on google to try and see if there's another way you would be able to get the correct blood tests (I have no idea what exactly they are called i'm afraid). I wish you the best of luck with your family and I hope they love you for who you are no matter what :3 I don't know your family but they might need some time to adjust and work it out in their own heads when you tell them, just be patient and compose yourself and let them know that this is you and you are doing this to be happy and I'm sure they will be happy so long as they know you're happy, because at the end of the day; I'm sure that your happiness is the most important thing to them.

Invest in a pair of straighteners to neaten up the ends (or a blowdryer, if you know how to use it to style other than just dry).
Bring your hair parting slightly more centred - it looks more natural that way, and learn how to do makeup.
For skincare, I'd advise looking for guides on skincare for older women, since men typically have more open pores than women, who develop them later. Makeup tutorials for teens probably won't help you in this regard.

Yes, I've used Baby skin before, it's great. There are other (more expensive) pore erasers out there that are lighter and last longer on your face, but Baby Skin is the best budget one imo.
btw don't feel bad of it takes you a long time to work out what makeup and hairstyles work for your face. Most girls start trying things at 13-14 and don't get it right until they're 17-18 lol, you just have to work at it and experiment.

Ah yeah, that's a pain in the ass. When I was presenting female I used to have to reapply/touch up ever couple days sometimes. My advice would be invest in a transparent hardening top-coater and put about 3 layers of polish on. (Warning it'll take ages to dry properly so don't do it before bed or you'll wake up with prints in your nails).
