It's huge among gays in Vancouver. Actually I think it's something like well over 90% of HIV+ gay guys here are also intravenous drug users. There's like an entirely different world here between those that do meth and those that don't since there's basically an entirely separate gay community for those that do meth and they kind of have their own thing going on.
I'm not into it but I do notice the correlation between Meth use and risky sex, I know my brother does meth and he sometimes host gay sex parties at hotels. It should be a matter of time before he contacts AIDs, if he hasn't caught something already.
