It's entirely possible. But you're probably going to have to be pretty awesome.

probably not socially transitioning

In my opinion, if you're not gonna socially transition you might have a better time initially finding someone because a lot of the stress in dating a trans person (unless you're trans yourself) is due to a social stigma on dating trans people... if a potential partner knows you're not gonna socially transition and only the people who know you're on meds will know you're trans, they'll probably be more willing to start dating you.. However, in the long run (unless you become the most horrendous of hons) people will start looking at you funny due to the mones and the way you present yourself socially, especially if you're ftm.. Seriously though, if you're ftm you're gonna want to transition socially.. mtf you might be able to pass it off but its still unlikely and it'll probably take a toll on your mental health regardless.

After a few years of this I'm starting to think I could pull it off indefinitely. I look younger and sort of andro, and if anything, girls like me more. The having boobs that need to be hidden, and not being able to really open up to anyone sucks, but it's livable.

For now but it will take its toll on you eventually.. no one is impenetrable. And, anyone you're going to date will find out one way or another, unless your post op... then they might just think you're a girl who prefers guys clothes, if you're lucky.
