You only get lesbian bars in the larger cities. Lesbians are just not bar goers. You may find them in coffee houses. Biggest handicap you'll have is socialization. You'll need to get out there and socialize to make friends, and find a lover. Read /tlg/ and /lesgen/, but don't post trans stuff in lesgen..

Thats a myth. I mean getting it up can be a little more laborious, but I've found its pretty rare for one to be completely incapable. If they are it has more to do with dysphoria. Hormones aren't typically the issue. My T is basically zero. Arousal is 90% mental.

OP it depends on where you live. Here in SF there is usually one monthly lesbian party (sometimes two) each weekend. These used to be advertised via fliers at the Lex, now it's just word of mouth and I guess social media.
The best way to meet lesbians around here would be to start dating women off apps like Her and Tinder. Stay in touch/friendly with everyone you date and have dated (also, start all new people/dates as friends). Our community is very incestuous. Everyone has dated each other and remain friends with one another.
Before you know it you have your own circle of lesbian friends within the broader lesbian community. You'll be in the know about all the new parties in town, and most of your social outings will be with other lesbians, and thus your circle grows.
Granted, all of what I said is only applicable if you are enjoyable to be around, and attractive looking (though I suppose lacking in one could be made up for in the other). If you're a sperglord hon then I wouldn't count on any of my advice holding true for you.
I'm the only tranny in my group of friends here, though sometimes I see the occasional tranny out at the parties. I have seen non passing trannies looking desperate, sad, lonely, and out of place, but I've also seen them dancin dirty with girls and getting some action. Many of the girls in the scene are bi, and some can even have a thing for a mannish/non passing/non binary/etc trannies (I had to see it to believe it).
I personally haven't experienced, or even overheard, any hostility from cisbians against transbians here, but I'm also really fun, friendly, and pretty. Ymmv.

That's what I'm hearing. I'm kinda bummed. It'll make finding compatriots harder when you travel a lot. There are many times I only want feminine company. It's getting more and more as I age.
