Now to answer Op's question, for me, back before I passed at least moderately, I tended to feel offended when I saw someone that seemed girlier and prettier than me despite not seeming to try as hard, and I actually had trouble talking to pretty girls because I envied them so much, and I felt ashamed for feeling like this, feeling like I should be happy for them being fortunate instead of pitying myself.
Especially feminine voices could really throw me into turmoil, which ended up causing me to frantically explore the capabilities of my voice on my own, but even after more than a year my voice sounds childish and boyish rather than feminine. At least it doesn't sound manly anymore, though, unless I try (I can actually go way lower than even the most masculine guy I know if I try qq). I actually sort of have an ambition of becoming a singer now though so I'll just keep practising and maybe get a coach if I find someone who is experienced with countertenors.

I saw this lady on reddit yesterday, posting about the cool Shrek-style gingerbread men she made. It did definitely affect my mood for the day. I despair of ever competing with someone like that in terms of looks, but I don't hate her for it. The women who really bring out my jealous rage are the ones who pretend their beauty is effortless and disdain those of us who have to try. For someone like this who clearly is trying, I feel a mixture of admiration of their ability and dedication, a bit of unease about how society might influence and interpret the sort of hyper-feminine personal hospitality she evinces, and the despair mentioned above.
