Ask the nurse drawing blood if you can hold her hand, and let them know you have trouble with blood. I get really bad fainting spells even thinking about getting blood drawn but that stuff really helps me. Even then I usually spend 30 minutes on the chair after getting it drawn before I've calmed down enough to get back up. But it's better than detransing because of a phobia.
