Relly, reversing coming out shouldn't be awkward. I really doubt anyone would be sad that you got a gf instead of a bf. Surprised, maybe, but not sad.
Sexuality is not a rigid thing. Of course you won't be straight one day and gay the other one, but it's not rare that sometimes you feel more attracted to some things, and less attracted to others.

When I was questioning myself about being bi (thought I was gay) I met an awesome girl who was clearly into me but I didn't pursue her because I thought I was gay and didn't want to deal with people's thoughts and opinions about my life, now I think about it all the time and regret being such a coward. Why is it when these threads happen with gay guys being bi/curious everyone is pretty chill and understanding, but when it's the same thread with a lesbian its trolled to death. After being in the gay community for a while I've noticed that men are just as likely to be bi/curious as lesbians, its just that guys have way less chances of experimenting with women because women are picky and don't care about turning gay guys straight, whereas men are easy to get with and are motivated by turning lesbians.
Anyways op, I think if you really like her things won't change. Even if later on you shift back to guys, you'll probably still want to bone her because you love her.
