I'm not saying that the readers are helpless, obviously they don't have to read it if they don't want to.
But I do feel like the author is just shoving it down their throats, saying, 'this is right', rather them PERSUADING the readers that transsexual relationships are okay.

My guess?
'ElloLove' (a side channel by them, vlogging their couple-ness) got too big, too fast. Madison was taking too much of the attention away from Stephanie, and her fans always wanted Madison in every video with her. Stephanie obviously didn't like that and then began having negative outlashes to Madison. This put their relationship on strain and eventually it broke.
