Anyone have more information on the whole 'starve yourself' tactic for mtf's reshaping their body? I'm mtf but it seems too good to be true.

For anyone who doesnt know, apparently you can exploit something between your body and the way hormones work.

In essence, hormones wont move the fat thats already on your body, but they make new fat appear in more feminine places.
And most people know that starving yourself is a not very effective method to losing weight, because it puts your body into 'starvation mode', and any new food you eat after starving yourself will be turned into fat because your body doesnt know when it will eat again.

So in theory, when your a little bit into hrt, and your body is starting to redistribute fat, if you starve yourself, you'll lose your "manly" looking fat, and then when you eat again, the new fat should come in, quickly, in a feminine shape.

Can anyone confirm/deny this with evidence?

Fat won't go away or appear somewhere else unless it disappears first
That being said, do not starve yourself, as other bodily developments will stop. Just drop your diet to like ~1200-1400 kcal per day and rigirously monitor it until you're well into underweight category, then start eating normally again (maybe a bit more, like 2500kcal) and you'll start gaining it back in the right places.

You'd need to wait until about 6 mos into HRT for this, though. You could also go on a lot less extreme diet starting now and then when 6 mos rolls around you'll already be underweight
