i tried getting into engineering
did great at chemistry and somewhat good at physics
but never understood shit about algebra or calculus
and there weren't any other gay guys there
then i changed degrees to one without maths
literally filled with gays and girls. Even my male teachers are mostly gay
and I'm getting great grades now

That's more specifically engineering than anything else. I'm a straight trans woman majoring in Chemistry, about half of my peers are cis girls, same goes for the professors.

What you're insinuating is that 100% of blacks and Asians got jobs and 0% of them bitched about lack of employment. They were largely relegated to lower-paying or otherwise less desirable jobs, like busboys and bellhops. There was the stereotype of the black bellhop for a while. And they did bitch about it quite a bit, as you may remember, since there was the whole "civil rights movement".
And simultaneously you're insinuating that 100% of LGBT are unemployed and bitching about how it's discrimination's fault. The unemployment rate for transgender people is double the unemployment rate for cisgender people (14% vs 7%), and 15% of transgender people are in households that make less than $10,000/year, compared to 4% of the general population. But that still leaves about 86% of them with jobs and 86% of them in households that make more than $10,000/year.
