Alternate 1944 thread.
Its 1944. Four years ago Reich set its eyes on taking Africa with Iraq being a priority. In 1940 it invaded North Africa, engaging in seesaw battles with Britain. In 1942 USA hopped on the train, invaded West Africa and eventually cleared all of North Africa. US Navy and RN cleared the Mediterranean and took all relevant islands. Luftwaffe is seriously eroded by US Air Force.
It is 1944. USA is bent on taking Europe (Stalin will only join when Germany is weak enough) and has hundreds of thousands of men all over North Africa and upon british island.
What would be the best way to invade this new Europe?
As stated, Germany and USSR never go to war up and untill Awestern Allies manage to set up a large and indestructible foothold on European mainland.
All but-Stalin-would-attack posters need not apply. Stalin MIGHT attack, but in this scenario he waits to take the spoils with as much ease as possible.

Your alternate map doesn't make much sense, even if Switzerland is a blunder.
Denmark is invaded, but somehow Iceland stays neutral? Iceland was in a union with Denmark at the time, they got their full independence after the war. When Denmark got invaded, Iceland willingly turned into a Bong base. They couldn't stay neutral.
Also, in this map, Sweden is invaded, but not Norway. This makes absolutely no sense. First of all, Sweden woul be a lot harder to invade than Norway, since they didn't neclect their armed forces in the inter war years, compared to the utter incompetence of the norwegian armed forces. Germany still got their ball bearings and steel from Sweden during the war, and didn't need to invade it. They did need to invade Norway though, to make sure their merchant fleet doesn't fall into british hands (didn't work out too well), and to have relatively secure bases for german warships operating in the atlantic.
Also, Soviet doesn't invade Finland and take their territories, and somehow still loses Murmansk?

you realize Finland cooperated with germany on operation barborossa, right? Germany was an ally of necessity for Finland, but they were in no doubt participating in WW2.
