Reliable, no-frills semi-auto pistol? Not looking to break the bank, looking for american-made value.
Glock Perfection™
>inb4 glocknade maymay
It's a reliable, no-frills semi-auto pistol that won't break the bank.
How cheap are you talking here?
>sheeeit, muh EBT gots to cover a gun and ammo this month

Glock
American made? Fuck off. Get a CZ-75 and be done with it.

Smith and Wesson M&P
Ruger SR series
Springfield XD.
Can't think of any other major american manufacturers, but any of those three guns should work if you want "American".

Used Smith & Wesson 5906 pistol.
All steel, made in America, DA/SA trigger, 17rd flush mags available from MecGar

Anything I should know about the XD? Not OP, but have always been curious about it. Redpill me.
>>30657171
M&P is probably your best option given the criteria.

plumb-label Glock.

>"American"
Springfield is an American company, though the XD is made in Croatia. I guess a Glock would be just as valid, an Austrian company that makes (some) guns in America

Anon there are so many rel-
>American made
Well this narrows down our results to:
-M&P
-Ruger American (which no one seems to talk about anymore)
-A cheapo 1911 clone.
I've heard about a new pistol called the FMK. Super cheap, American made. But I haven't seen a lot of reviews on it, nor has it been out long enough to have a fair judgement.

Someone is going to hate this suggestion, but I've so far had zero malfunctions in my S&W SD9VE out of roughly 3k rounds. Rock solid reliable, dead simple to use, dirt cheap and American made. It has an absolutely garbage trigger, but once you get used to that it shoots fine.

>american-made value.
Is there even an American made, polymer, striker fired pistol besides the s&w m&p?
Errrraaaaaah

FNH shit is made in the US of A (To get around import laws I think)
>>30657269
american made glocks exist

SW M&P I own a fulllsize 9mm and their 40 compact. probably put a thousand rounds through each with no problems. depending on where you are it retails around 500.
Other people have said glock, they are great guns but due to how light they are you feel the recoil a little bit more.
Springfield is a little too heavy on the other end in my opinion, and a little more expensive.
THe Ruger SR series is also a good option, my friend put hundreds of rounds through his with little to no problems.

I would unironically purchase one as a ghetto [nigger] blaster to have something until a decent pistol and rifle are well within means.

Op not to derail your thread, check out hi points though for real, their like 100 dollars brand new with a lock box
The S&W M&P and Glock are the two best polymer framed striker fired semi autos on the market. The first is always US made and Glock recently opened a manufacturing plant in Georgia so it shouldn't be too hard to find a US made Glock.
