Hey /k/ just bought this K98 from a guy off armslist. Spent 300 on it, has all matching numbers, no idea if it's fake,
Did I do alright? Or overpay?

Bolt handle is sporterized.

The bolt is bent at an odd angle, when it's supposed to be bent all the way down.

this. it's been "sporterized." that is a bent bolt handle to clear a scope, and on an otherwise un-bubba'd K98, it is an abomination
you didn't do TOO bad, but imo overpaid a little, I would have left it alone. The drill holes in the receiver and the sporterized bolt take away from the value greatly.
