Hey /k/. So I'm going to starting my fourth year of university this fall, working on my degree in computer engineering. However, I still don't have any real plans or ideas of where I want to work or what I even want to do once I'm out. I've been wondering, are there any guys here who have joined either navy or airforce after university to get a sort of near guaranteed internship? Is it worth it? I've still got a while to decide, but I want to know all my options. Anybody willing to share their stories? Hopefully some computer or electrical engineers here chime in particular.

I don't have an answer to your question but here's some food for thought. Is /k/ the most underage board there is? Every 4th thread is either a weak troll or a /soc/-tier blog thread.

Are you insinuating this is soc tier? I just want to hear people's experiences with the military to see if its right for me. Not trying to brag or get contacts.

sorry /adv/-tier

Alright that might be a good board for this question too, but I think /k/ has a lot more military people on here, so I figured there would be more people who can answer this specifically.

>fourth year of university
I don't know anything about the military outside of the United States. Sorry.

Your best bet is to talk to a recruiter or someone in real life, dude. Other than that, the Military Enlistment General threads pop up from time to time.

Shut up, /meg/.

I'm in the U.S.

Oh I didn't find it the first time I'll look. I'll repost the question there if it doesn't get answered here I guess.
