Just got a hi-point 995. Cost me $279.
Bought it as a trunk gun.

My grandpa gave me one as a first gun, I like it. It's really good to learn/teach on. Unfortunately mine is starting to have a few problems, and doesn't have much life left in it. It's not fancy, but it puts holes where you point it, and that's really what matters in the end.

Jesus fuck, it may be functional, but it's also functionally fucking ugly.

I was actually kinda surprised when I first unboxed it. Shot pretty straight with no adjustments, and was surprisingly quiet.
Take down is a bitch though. Those two pivot points might as well be welded to the gun.

Do you buy potatoes because they're pretty? Fuck no, you buy them to eat because they provide you with sustenance.
The hi-point is simply the potato of the gun world.

It's not pretty but at least it isn't as fugly as the hi-point pistols
I might be able to acquire a Saiga AK used for $600, plus tax, or a new, Ruger mini-14 for about $830.
I kind of want a Ruger over the AK. What get?

Picked up an old Springfield Model 56 for $75. Shot Calibri rounds at Kevlar inserts inside, was pretty fun.
Got this on Wednesday. Love it. Love everything about it.

the saiga. for $800 you can buy or build a nice AR and you dont see decent aks for $600 very often anymore
>>30627600
Send it to Hi Point for repairs autist.
>>30627578
For that much you coulda bought a maverick 88, had around the same capacity in a heavier round
I got this Legion Saiga that is pending conversion. I got some wood from Russia and popped out the trigger guard rivets. I'm still looking for a FSB and GB to complete it.

Just calibri, amusing what just primers alone can do.

Same here. Paid $256 for mine.
It's a fun plinker, and will end up as a trunk gun. Picked up two of the 20 round Redball mags for it, too

I doubt they'd send it up here to Alaska. We have an ammo store that stocks them anyways.
If ya have problems with your carbine just send it to them and get it fixed. They have lifetime warranty and you don't even need to be original owner.
My new build. Getting ready to go innawoods tomorrow and finally try it out.
Yugo M59, just ordered last week
