Doing that hollywood shit is said to harm the crane, but a cylinder crane breaking is very rare, so much so that a revolver breaking or being out of time is more fault on the manufacturer than anything else most of the time. The only other time this might happen is when you slam or throw the gun against things like the floor or a hard wall with its cylinder exposed. It would be like locking back the slide on any other pistol, hitting it against things, then whining that pistols are inherently flawed for breaking after being used as a hammer or a boomerang.
This complaint is basically the same as those autists who give you shit for racking the charging handle wrong on an AR, or not gripping the slide correctly when racking a pistol, or giving an HK gun the HK slap. None of these bad habits will break your gun, but extra hot loads and blatant abuse will, so I would be more worried about that.

It terms of durability, yes, Korths and Manhurins are better. Pythons can go out of timing easier, so you have to watch for that. They're not "combat magnums" in that regard.
It terms of fit/finish, trigger pull, accuracy, and so on, all the stuff I've read by those who own a Python and either of the other two have said the Python is more or less equal.
