It's not military grade, but bulldozer blades are made from a really tough metal alloy to reduce wear on the blades. While the blades themselves are made from thick alloy, the rear plate is not thick. We're talking about 10 mm or less.
The only actual good point about it is that it offers excellent protection against HEAT. However it only covers the lower glacis, while the enemy is far more likely to aim at the upper glacis and turret.
