Hey /k/, I saw a Yugoslavian Mauser that looked really nice on Armslist and he wants 350 dollars for it. Since I paid around 200 for my M24 Mauser, I dont mind the 350 dollar price tag hes asking for. HOWEVER, what is the usual average for these old tack drivers?

going rate for 24/47 and m48s is $300

rusty ones are 180

I bought mine for $350

I think that people grossly underestimate the price of guns here

you'd have to pay shipping and transfer with those but i can link directly to them, you'll just have to take my word for it that yugo mausers are generally $300 f2f and less if you find one at a physical auction.

I bought a m24/47 for 400. It was matching and came with a sling and a mayonet. Stock is mostly fine no large chunk or ugly repairs. All parts work fine except my extractor broke because I used cheap hotshot 8mm mauser. STAY AWAY FROM THAT SHIT IT WILL FUCK YOUR RIFLE UP. Pic related extractor that broke.

I paid $200 for an M48.

Granted the bolt doesn't match, but eh.
I also already want a special snowflake mauser to replace it, so take from that what you will.

+100 for your ffl markup because SOG is a wholesaler only, and it's 350.

>>30574018
did you try to close the extractor over an already chambered round?

Southern Ohio Gun has M48's for $279 last I checked.

M48A's and M48B's were like $20-30 cheaper.
>>
AIM surplus is selling m48s with matching parts for $300 right now

You may say that now, but if you ever have to make a sandwich under combat conditions you'll be glad to have one.
>>
Probably going to post a 24/47 on castboolits today at some point. They are a bit nicer than 48s so I think I am fairly at $320.

What brand of ammo is best for an M24/47? I got one recently but am terrified of shit like this.

PPU

Do you by any chance know where to get the proper stripper clips as well? I've heard people tend to have trouble finding ones that will fit their M24/47s

Yugo surplus M49 ball.

>>30584339
Pretty much all 8x57mm stripper clips should work in the M24/47; I've never had an M98 clip that wouldn't; you'll know them by the three lugs on each side of the clip. The 2-piece construction ones are best. Yugo, Turkish, German all good as long as they're 2-pc.

Alright, thanks man. Much appreciated.

Nah it broke when opening the bolt or a round.
