I found interest in throwing knifes. Someone doing that here as free time activity or in a sport group? Some advices on them?

1. make sure they are properly balanced for your throwing grip.
2. hammer grip is best grip
3. the tips will get fucked up, accept this, love this, it is fact, it is truth, it is life.
4. learn your distance, your distance is the distance it takes to do a complete rotation/.
5. practice practice practice.
6. throwing knifes are not valid for self defense, don't even try that shit.
7. move the fuck out of Germany to a country where you can have guns.

Well i am studying IT here right now. Thought about moving but every place seems shit somehow. The right to own guns is appealing though.
I just got cuious about throwing knives and i dont really know what a hammer grip is or how i know if its balanced or not. Thought about buying a starter set on ebay.
