A fucking piece of shit 10/22.

Then I sold that and never went back.
I might consider some other .22 for silencer purposes eventually though...

I'm pretty sure the 10/22 is the firearm that has the biggest aftermarket of all, so I don't get people who say that 10/22s are shit when they can be anything you want them to be

Oh and if you were using Butler Creek magazines, that might have been the reason you had issues

>>30562744
The first gun i was given was an H&R topper or 10/22. But those aren't interesting so i will use the first gun i purchased: 1980s Charter Arms Undercover in .38 special.

They (at least mine) can from the factory with a bent main spring guide and a slightly oversized bolt.
I have to use a fucking hammer to remove the bolt to clean it.
The damn spring assembly never wanted to go back in.

As such, it never got a good cleaning and thus continuously jammed.
Therefore, it coming from the factory this way, it was a piece of shit.

I sold that fucker and bought a Mauser and never looked back.

yeah, my hack job, I had a military surplus crate my dad gave me as a kid. My brother moved around alot and took it with him for a few year so he could keep his shit in one place. I finally got it back but the top was falling off and the hinges were rusted and coming apart(you can see them in the back). I decided i wanted it back.

I cut the top off at the hinges with a hacksaw(only saw i had at the time).
So i cut up some bed boards that weren't being used with a hacksaw(took forever).
I couldn't find my tape measure so i eye balled it.
Then nailed them together with finishing nails while using an old brass hammer(only hammer i had).
Then i found some hinges i had laying around and attached the lid to the crate.
I know i did a shitty job but i wanted to get out of my hot ass garage and figured it was going to do the job.

First used and considered "mine" was a Ruger Mini-14 my grandpa gave me as an heirloom. Ended up putting a scope mount, felt recoil reducing buttpad, accu-strut, and M14 ironsights on it and then I painted the front sight to have a white dot surrounded by black at the top of the front blade. I didn't like Tritium very much, as I felt that if I can't verify my target I would be uncomfortable shooting anyway and seeing only the front blade of a ghost ring setup doesn't help me a ton.

First used and not considered mine was a Sig something or other in .45 ACP when I was 7.

First one I bought for myself was a Norinco Model 213, a Tokarev clone chambered for 9mm and is capable of using both 9mm and Tokarev with a barrel and mag swap, plus removing the magwell spacer. I'll probably just keep in 9mm though.

First one I bought and actually consider to be my first real entry into firearms is a TriStar T120, a Jericho clone with a longer slide and barrel, scale rear slide checkering, and sights which have dimples for the dots. I took a set of CZ75 grips and recut them to fit perfectly, put a laser/flashlight combo on the rail, and repainted the sights to have two bright white rear dots and one bright orangeish-red dot in the front. Zero'd the laser at 25 yards. Then, I gave it to my mom to use as a bedside gun while I was gone in the military because Hawaii gun laws suck cock and I live in barracks.

Maks are badass, I really like the idea of it pushing the limits of the blowback design. Not a pistol that's going to fail you

This is my first firearm and I still have it. Absolutely wonderful pistol. I have had only one small issue that was covered by warranty (small roll pin fell out after thousands of rounds fired). No problems since.

An H&R break-action auto-ejector that was owned by my great grandfather.
Just this week I've added an SKS and a self-built AR to that list.
