Why hasn't anybody made a DSLR like scope?
You would see exactly what you are aiming.
It should have a mirror that lifts before the bullet passes through the barrel.
And what is stopping carbon buildup or the massive preasure from wrecking this mirror?
Can those super tighty tolerance lenses even handle recoil and shock?
Because the optic offset is so far down the list of things that affect accuracy, it's a waste of time, energy and money to "fix."
This is like saying why not make race cars faster by replacing weak plastic tire valve covers with CNC machined titanium ones.

Because that's not how ballistic trajectory works.

I don't get it. Are you talking about recording what is being shot? Because there are a few video cameras designed to do that. Also, some FLIR scopes come with video out.
Better question: why hasn't anyone made tiny camera that is connected via Bluetooth to a google glass based HUD for the reticle. Eliminate the scope.

just tape 4 lasers onto the barrel of a sub-moa rifle that fires a really flat shooting round and have a really low profile scope mount
bam now you know that the bullet will always land within those 4 lasers within a certain distance

I think they make lasers for shotguns like that.

That is a stupid idea. It would only help accurate aiming if you are shooting straight up or straight down.

this is, perhaps, the most significant reason that your suggestion would not improve precision.

Because Bluetooth has shit bandwidth
