Check the OP link to the list of banned weapons. For longguns, the rule is if its banned, and you bought it before the ban came in, your good. If not, then your not supposed to bring them. However there is zero paper trail for any of this so it's not like they can enforce it.
Don't know about handguns, never really pay attention to that.
