"The Russia's giant aircraft carrier of Admiral Kuznetsov will in October carry Ka-52 helicopters to Syrian waters to participate in combat missions across the crisis-hit country," Borisov told reporters in Bishkek.
"The newly-manufactured helicopters of the Russian army have been built based on previous model of Ka-52-aligastor, but with more advanced navigation, trace and targeting equipment," he further added.
"The Russian army has a plan to replace Sukhoi-25 combat jets with Ka-52 choppers in case the new helicopters' successful missions in Syria," the commander announced.

Remember, both of the carriers have space for 250 troops in addition to a full air wing. rising to 1000 or so without a full airwing.
