Looking to get a "Break in Case of Crusade" display.

Anyone want to share Crusade era weapons that might still be useful against half naked savages?

Stuff that can actually be bought would be better.

Saw a few things on cult of athena, but all that stuff is wall hanger.

A 12-18" machete would probably be the most practical answer, but these are a little more pokey-stabby fun:

Steel isnt listed, but their review says MILD steel.

I'm looking for a functional piece, mild is crap.

A machete would really depend on the style and finish. I don't want some piece of shit cheapo metal stamp.

I love cold steel, but a gladius isnt really a crusader weapon. Ill go review their stock tho.

>Both pommel and guard have been given the same satin finish that is used on the blade. These components are manufactured from mild steel

Read the review properly

This is the only mention of mild steel in it, Albion does not outright state their steel, it's their little secret they like to keep. Most believe they use 6150 high carbon which is an excellent steel.

Albion is the best production sword maker on the current market

You can get some windlass steel craft maces pretty cheaply. And the cold steel war hammer is like 40 something.

Windlass's maces and hammers are made of either a really low carbon steel, or mild steel, or they just aren't heat treated

And if you're looking for windlass stuff, you're better off waiting for their deal of the day to have something nice on it and getting something from them for 50% off at museum replicas

Oh ok

I would ask for proof but you just said they dont list their steel. On their website they list quite a few types but do not mention if they actually use any of it.

That axe of justice is in the right time period just about, but wheres the specs?

OH FUCKING GREAT

Also for their swords, there's enough reviews on places like youtube, myarmoury, sbg forums, and so on that will tell you they are very high quality

They used to make a seax-type machete; maybe you could find one on eBay?

A spear is your best bet.

The spear is by far the best crusade era weapon- You have a huge distance advantage on anyone with a sword, mace, hammer, axe.

The spear was the most popular weapon for a reason.

Baltic peoples?

Eh, I'd say anything with a point is good enough to remove Lithuanians.

For sure cannot fit a spear into a shadow box and put it on my wall. xD

Nice, will do. Their OoP can get expensive. tho.

Why used limited ranger weapons like this when we have machines that spit hot lead out very fast rates?

In the event of a crusade(In the ME of course), what weapon would best operate innadesert?
