Halo is not /k/ approved (except the ODSTs), but even we can put up with bullshit if it looks cool enough.
Read the books though, and they're terrible. They just need to stop trying to justify things and go back to the attitude of "look, it's just fun. It's a carefree sci fi military adventure. It's not supposed to be realistic".
