You would see the G3 more than you would this. I think I may see it when I visit later on though. I see the Galil ACE whenever I go down there so this should be more common from the last time I went.
It has steadily replaced the G3 so I guess it just werks. Only G3's I've seen for a few years are in hands of guards.

Most people think HK just STFU to avoid losing all those sweet LEO sales. Plenty of Mexican PDs that want o upgrade from handme down, beat up AR15s get either the G36E or the Beretta ARX.
