Post a picture of your favorite firearm that you own, how you got it, and why you like it so much! Images don't necessarily have to be ones you've taken yourself, but try to find a picture that represents your gun well.

I'll begin: Remington 870 Wingmaster from the 70s

Grandpa gave it to me when I first got into guns, love it because its action is smooth as silk and points like an arrow

Tie between my police trade mossburg 500 and my shield 9.

The mossburg is ugly as sin but has got history and personalty. You know this thing breached doors and iced crooks. She served an officer well, and now she serves me well. Great for skeet, hunting, innawoods, (Even with the short barrel) and home defense.

The shield was the first factory new gun I ever bought, and 1200 rounds in, still preforms like new. Some adjustments and practice later, and I can drive tacks with it. It's that assurance that it won't fail me that I love about it. I never leave home without it.

>>

Forgot to add, I found it new in box at a gun show I went to with my grandpa.
It's a 629-4 so no Hillary hole and all forged parts. Paid 800 cash, full retail for something like this but it's been a great gun.
I went hog hunting with my grandfather last December and we carried pistols, I packed this 44 and he carried the glock 20, i always think of our hunting trip when I get this one out.
As for why I got it? Revolvers are fun to shoot and especially in 44 Magnum so why not?

It's a disgrace famalam. The thing was only made because some dickhead faggot decided that standard wood furniture was too "military" like. I mean, they could have made a dozen more ergonomic stocks, but just like everything else in this country, it was designed by some underpaid faggot, who was ordered to by some overpaid faggot to make something neither of them care about.

You guys can at least swap out the furniture, we have to deal with this stupid bullshit over here. Get this, they design a really decent mouser-based precision rifle (pic related). It has it all - good QC, decent performance, can be pushed sub-MOA, all that jazz. Then those fucking idiots decide to go for a PLASTIC trigger guard.....fucking PLASTIC.

Sounds like a barrel of fun over there. You'd think the trigger guard would be one of those things they'd actually require to be metal. Looks like a neat rifle though.

Personally I have no interest in wood either way, just adds more weight. If I ever swap it out I'm thinking about a magpul PRS on a folding false buffer tube and a nice new ergonomic grip.

Anyone else having captcha open like 2-3 blank windows usually covering the select image here thing?
>>
>>30452699
Hopefully it's going to be my next purchase, but I have to figure out some things before I go through with it. But yeah, they cheap out in most unusual places. Hope you get your Magpul furniture bro, it'll be a breath of fresh air for that rifle.

Not gonna lie. Part of buying this was thanks to games like counterstrike, BF2, and rainbow six 3.

I just impulse bought it at a LGS and bought the folder stock/scope setup etc later. It fit me so well and felt so good that almost every other gun I'd gone there to look at felt almost bad afterwards.
It grew on me a lot, but I actually thought it was a bit ugly when I took it home.
Now it's my jack of all trades rifle, with the folder for the seasons when I'm in a tractor cab for a month, and fixed stock for the other months since it's the most comfy military stock I've handled. I usually just carry stripper clips because I love using them and they're just easier to take with me. And 762x39 is pretty much the minimum caliber to give me tons of fun shooting since it hits pretty hard down range and kicks up respectable amounts of mud at the clay pit.

My Marlin 1894. This is my first gun, and it's a lot of fun to shoot. I have a lot more fun with it per shot than an AK. My only complaint is the cost of ammo, but I'm going to bulk-order some .44 magnum for it to get the cost per round down. I got it after fleeing the People's Republic of Cook County last month and moving to a free state that doesn't require a FOID.

My 91/30
Bought it for 150, with sling/bayo/kit/pouch, and some ammo. Good times then. I wiped the cosmo off for months, eventually refinishing the stock. At some time between 2013-2014 I added a shim kit and used electrical tape to free float the barrel. It's been weathered and abused and hasn't failed me yet. Shoots true and was my go to gun until I got an AR, but it still is my favorite. My first .30 cal rifle, my first innawoods gun, and my only 91/30.

My runner up would be a National Match M-1 Garand. Gramps willed it to me after his passing, and I haven't had the chance to shoot it at any great range. It's a well fingerfucked safe queen.

Also a flashlight

I just got this today and took it to the range. Easily the most fun handgun I've ever handled, and my favorite gun currently.

It was my grandfather's, he and I shared it on several hunts when I was young. When he passed it came straight to me along with others in his safe. If I had to go innawoods to escape the government this is the one I would feel the worst about having to leave.

It's my only
>handgun
>semiautomatic gun
>gun with magazines

The only other funs I own is a 590a1 and an old 30-06 R700. Neither are as fun as the glock. It's also the cheapest to shoot

Golani sporter that I spent way too much on (was like 3 months after sandy hook). After a little tweaking its become my go-to rifle. Only bitch about it is finding parts that aren't being priced like museum pieces.
