Hey guys, so I'm pretty new to firearms. I've pretty much only had experience with pistols before recently. However, I saved up and finally bought a rifle. Arsenal SLR-104 whoohoo.
So here's the issue. Generally I've only ever bought ammunition on an ad hoc basis. I wanna shoot, I go to the range buy soemthing rounds and have fun. However, I've moved out of the city and have enough property now to shoot regularly. So where do you buy ammunition in bulk? I can barely find brick and mortar stores that stock 5.45×39, let alone 500 to 1000 rounds.

As for ammo, SGAmmo is a good place I suppose. I recently got 1,000 7.62x39 rounds from them and they hadn't jacked up their prices in light of the mass murder in Orlando, so I guess they're alright. Just beware they charge for shipping so your cost per round will come up a bit. Can't help you with the question about magazines as I only own an SKS.

Aw shit son, nother FLbro here and I'm getting an SLR104 on Saturday, funnily enough gonna be doing it in digi floras too. Search online for Wolf/Tula as cheap shit, and buy a crate or two of 7N6 to stow away. surplus mags a best, new production foreign stuff next, don't bother with domestic mags

I've gotten really good deals from Freedom Munitions. So far I've shot about 400 of their new 9mm and had one where the primer popped but the powder didn't ignite. Shipping is what'll kill you the most, VKBO should be right around 100 dollars or so for the top+bottom set, but the vests will run you a helluva lot of money depending on who you buy from. Not sure why the prices on 6SH112 went up so high. As long as you're not a skeletor like me then a 6B45 should be easy to pick up for 150-200 with some 2A GOST

Is CTD a reputable dealer? I don't care if they price gouged at one time. I just saw they had 9mm brass for ~18cpr and that sounds like a sweet deal. Just don't want to be sent something other than what I order.

You're gonna need your chest size and height for Russian stuff, they don't do small-med-large, it goes 44/46-48/50-etc then 1-2-3-4-etc for height. And VKBO is relatively cheap for what it is

Although I don't think you should give them any business, academy sports usually has shelves filled with 5.45 + more on their warehouse racks. It goes on sale about once a month too and there's no purchase limit
