We all go to DLI in Monterey, CA to learn a language. I'm not sure where the other branches go for crypto/intel training, but the Army linguists go to Goodfellow, which is an airforce base. I'd assume the airforce linguists are trained there as well.

It depends on your ship, what class it is and all that. Generally bigger ships have less variety for ports they can visit.
Also, you only really get to do that kinda shit if you're on deployment. In homeport? You're gonna go out every couple of weeks to jerk off in grid squares and come right back home.
Worst case scenario? You're gonna be on that bitch from the time you hit Rota on your way to the gulf at the start of deployment to when you hit Rota again on your way back. That's essentially what we got in 2011. But I've been out since 2013 so they may have, unlikely, stopped being faggots

Currently in the Air National Guard doing a desk job. Want to join the French Foreign Legion and actually see combat in my lifetime. My reenlistment date is in 2019. I'll be 26 then. In terms of deploying its usually a deployement every 2 years. On average at least. However if you are stationed in Japan at Yoko or sasebo you are fwd deployed and will deploy much more frequently. Again budgets are tight so liberty ports arent as common and smaller ships are better in every way. CG or DDG is the way to go.

It isn't 2005 anymore, and you can do more than DeVry and University of Phoenix online.
Many decent state schools offer all-online programs now. Penn State is pretty popular, for instance. There's also a pretty wide selection of regionally accredited online programs without brick&mortar institutions. WGU is one that a lot of IT folks in the military use, tuition assistance will cover your degree and a nice handful of technical certifications.
You can do full-time college while being active duty military, especially if you're in a desk-bound job field. I got my Bachelor's + Master's in 5 years total while active, but that's definitely not the norm.

25-series is split up into a fuckton of different MOSs with different specialties, but your unit always assumes that you know everything about all technology. They all go to school at Fort Gordon, Georgia, which is hot and humid but about as miserable as any other AIT post.

Even for the higher level clearance investigations it's pretty much just three things:
1. Are you a terrorist? Hard to fail this unless your dad is active in ISIS or you have weird unexplained periods of your life where you trained in a camp in the Middle East.
2. Do you have major liabilities (credit check, mostly). Just don't have bad debt, easy.
3. Are you honest? This one is also easy, just don't lie.
99% of stuff that people stress over for a clearance does not matter for a clearance. A lot of it matters for joining the military, but not for the clearance process.

Just barely joined the Army by the skin of my teeth.
I ship out in a little over two months but I am am at 24% body fat and I can barely run a mile. I can also do a very small number of push ups. My sit-ups are fine but still not very high.
I am following the Army Pocket Physical training Guide on Training Schedule 4. How fucked am I even if I follow this guide?

1. Go to the dr and see if you need stitches. They are probably starting to heal anyway. But just go check to make sure nothing is infected
2. Wait another week for the wounds to fully heal. Keep the area clean and moisturized.
3.If you can't wait, just wear long sleeves for now when you go talk, don't sign anything and refer to step 2.
4. After the wounds close, find some really fine sandpaper and "rub the scars out." It won't happen over night, but it will fade them quickly. A few passes a night will rub off some of the top layer of skin cells and new ones will grow in their place.

The ASVAB is broken down into sections. They reveal your technical, mathematical, etc aptitude.
Your min focus will be the General Technical or GT score. That's the one opening all your doors. If you have a 110 or higher, you qualify for any job.

Anything above E2 is suspect when you haven't earned it. I was happy I went in as an E - I owe you - 1. I didn't get my mosquito wings (E2) until I had my parachutist badge and EIB. PFC was fast behind. By the time I went to Ranger school, I had a CIB and combat jump wings.
