If you find a pre 86 in your state
$15,000-24,000
8months -16month wait as paper work is processed by atf.
$200 stamp fee
Transfer fee from dealer. $100-500
Finger print cards x2
Pasport photo x2
Paperwork in duplicate.
Postage.

Then you send in the check for $200, paper work, photos , finger prints into the atf. They stick it into a pile for 6 months.

Then fbi background check.

If yes you get to pick up gun after they mail your stamp.

If no. Most sellers keep a fee for a failed background check , ive seen 10-15%.

NFA prices EXPLODED the last five years
>TFW sear gun FNCs were $3k when I first got into guns
>Now they're $15k
>Trying to convince parents to break a CD and buy an auto sear as an investment
>Shit ain't working
Ah well.

Given that AK-15's dont even fuckinbg exist in the US of A yet, you'd have to:
1) find a contact in Russia who could get his hands on one
2) pay him enough to actually get one
3) pay the gorillion dollarydoos for him to smuggle the fucker through US customs
4) hide that shit because you now have an unregistered Full Auto weapon and the ATF will fuck your ass with a saguaro if they ever even THINK you have it.

Taking the bait for funsies.

So, for one, that AK-15 isn't real, it's something a group of Russian students came up with as something better looking than the AK-12.

Now, the real AK-15 in full auto doesn't technically exist. It's the semi-auto only version of the AK-107 from Izhmash or I guess now "Kalashnikov Concern". No price has been available yet for the semi auto, nor any real idea on whether or not it will actually be ever for sale in the US, but I'd guess above 1500 bucks, quite possibly above 2000.

For a real bonafide automatic AK-107 on the American market, you'd have to get a demo letter. How do you do that? Well, you have to first become a licensed class three firearms dealer. Which requires months of paperwork, setting up a business and plenty of other fun, easy things for someone looking to shoot up their old elementary school to do. Then, after you have registered your business, gone through all that paperwork to convince the ATF that not only should you be allowed to sell guns, but fully automatic ones, you have to then convince your local law enforcement agency that yes, they should totally test out a prototype Russian assault rifle in a caliber they don't use with parts that no one makes because, seriously guy, the AK-107 was never built in large numbers and was only tested by the Russian Army.

Also, there's that small problem of convincing the Russian government to hand over a prototype rifle, and then the small problem of convincing the ATF to let you import a fully automatic firearm from Russia.

If you somehow found your way through the import ban on Russian arms at the moment. I forgot to mention that.

Anyway, congratulations! You have only spent upwards of a year creating a business, most likely bribing Russian officials, and using your best abilities at skirting import bans, along with the small costs of starting a business (I do that frequently with pocket change), you have finally acquired yourself a full auto AK-15.

Or.

Find a liberal gun grabbing senator or congressman who is willing to sell you fully automatic weapons on the side.
