Florida here and I have snakes in backyard.I'm preparing to either kill or relocate them.
My current tools are a coat hanger duct taped to a pool cue and the wooden stick from a broom.
Am I ready? If not what are some things I could make?

I would mix gas with oil and burn the yard to the ground so icoukd see them better first.
Fellow floridafag here. If snek it non-venomous, don't kill it, it probably does more good than anything else in your yard. If venomous then use birdshot if you can use a firearm, or a shovel is vest for safe-range decapitation.

two pointers: one, your local gun law may permit you shooting dangerous wild animals (which snakes definitely are), and two, .22 shotshell said to be making the snake to coil after which it is easy to follow up with standard ammo. Good luck.
