Why would you carry ~2000ml of water that requrie a bag when you could carry 3000ml that comes with it's own bag?
Where's first aid?

Machete and a revolver, clothing optional.
You fags wouldn't last a day without all your fagass gear.
>>
>>30344873
Because I only spent about $20 on the pack, got the nalgene at work, and I have canteens and a camelback, but I literally hate camelbacks. As for the first aid, I take band aids, nesoporin, a Sam splint, and some ibeprophon. I'm going in the woods for a couple hours not iraq.

I don't like drinking. Out of camelbacks. No matter where the bladder resides.

You really should have a frame pack of sorts increases your load bearing capacity.

I gotcha. I dont like the taste from camelbaks but I like my source hydration system I have with my pack. You could also get an MSR bladder or whatever just to be able to carry more water whilst taking up less space than a couple nalgeines. just a suggestion.
>>
>>30344583
Is that the sign 2022? If so how do you like it?
>>
>>30344873
Nalgenes are more flexible and my pack has an elastic pouch for one on each side at the bottom. Putting 2L of water higher up is going to feel like more weight than if it rides at the bottom of your pack.
>>
>>30344962
I know. But this pack weighs like 15 pounds loses up, and is very comfortable. I'm used to carrying a pack with a frame, and a plate carrier for long distances, and I'm not a fan of it at all. So when I go hiking on my free time, I go as lightweight as possible, and I'm never uncomfortable
>>
>>30344972

>>
>>30344993
I feel ya I don't use armor so that really not a issue for me. Tho my pack it's a hybrid of external and internal fame
>>
>>30344969
Thanks

>>30344972
Yes, and for $420 I got it brand new with 4 magazines, and I really like it. I'm not a big pistol guy though I just have it to carry around, so I can not speak of its accuracy compared to similar pistols. I can talk about its reliability because I've put about 800 rounds through it and it's never ftf.

>>
>>30345725

I'm trying to get this store going so I can spend the the rest of the year on the Appalachian Trail.
>>
>>30345782

sounds fuckin awesome m8. planning on doing the whole trail?
>>
>>30345798

Yes. I'm just trying to come to grips with the idea that I'll have to do it unarmed.
>>
>>30344991

High weight is light weight. Try it both ways just around your neighborhood; take something heavy and toss it in the bottom of your bag, then empty it, put your light stuff at the bottom and your weight up top and you should feel a difference, especially if you have a frame bag.
>>
>>30345848
Take prosthetic arms. You won't get the same range of motion, but they can be used as a paddle in a pinch
>>
>>30345848

I'd just bring some handgun anyways. You could always stow it in your pack somewhere while you go through the shitty states.
>>
>>30345851

but...you're supposed to put weight at the bottom/middle of your pack and light stuff on top. thats backpacking 101

Depends, I use either alice belt or FLC with pistol, mags, IFAK and survival kit. Alice belt has room for 3 AR mags, FLC carries up to 8.
Then there's the Molle 2 assault pack with either 3L Camelbak or 5 quart canteen, snacks, ENO hammock, straps, Snugpak all-weather shelter, paracord, Kindle and/or a book or two and E-tool, tomahawk or machete. Will sometimes lash a bluetooth speaker to the outside of the pack with paracord and play some Two Steps From Hell while I hike.

If I really feel like torturing myself I might throw on my PC with AR-500 plates. I have ~10k trail that goes up one hollow, across a ridge and down another another hollow before returning to start with a ~1200ft altitude change in between. It's nice because the downhill hollow gets really narrow and has a cold spring running through it, so it gets little direct sunlight and traps cool air, I set out in the morning, get to my hammocking spot as it starts to get warm out, string my hammock up across the stream, spend the day reading and either head home as it gets dark or move to a dryer campsite for an overnight.

Lately sandals, a t-shirt, gym shorts, a pocketfull of ammo, and whatever gun I'm in the mood for. Walk down to my range, shoot my ammo, walk home. Nice mile hike with a big hill or two so I don't get fat.
>>
>>30344962
Excellent use of cam mixing. Don't know if it was intentional or not but it seems to have been a good choice.
>>
Need some input guys. Do any of you know of a brand of packs that has a lot of compartments for organizing hear do i don't have to just stuff it in the bag, but doesn't look super duper tactical so I can use it for any use and not draw attention? Preferably $150 or less, I'm poor...
