I've always been a sucker for gimmicky things like this. Does anyone actually make bolt action AR uppers?

Australian reporting in. This is a locally made straight pull AR. It's a spring assisted bolt so you only need to pull the bolt back to eject the case, then let it slam forward to chamber another round.

It's currently a 223 Wylde chamber. The shop that made it also makes a 300blk upper.
I'm in the process of trying to get a gunsmith to make me a 458 SOCOM barrel to put into it.

Dominion Arms/Norinco makes a single shot bolt .50 BMG upper.
