So /k/ I was innawoods the other day and I came across a hole I thought I could make into a tunnel, I've read through all the relevant /k/ unnaground posts, and so far, I was thinking about making a tunnel system, I found a website for Britbong protesting, but it has all the relevant instructions for creating the unnaground empire.

Also, I've been thinking about it and I was wondering how much something like this small TBM that's tunnel boring machine for you skyseers.

http://www.rhinotraders.com/ has them for sale, but you have to ask for pricing,
Also, I haven't really found anything about ventilation, and that kinda worries me, cause i'm not gonna start digging until I know how to get air up to myself down innatunnel. Transportation from tunnel to dig face would be easy to begin with, but a bit harder once the tunnel gets longer, I was thinking either something like rail runners, small gas powered carts, but with it being gas powered, we come back to the venting issue, I'm assuming that would asphyxiate me faster than a checkout box.
The other option for transportation would be a railbike or one of those handcars that look like pumpjacks.
and the final problem I have is knowing if the soil would be good enough for innatunnel operations
Thoughts?
trenches are kinda like tunnels, right?

If you're putting rails down you might as well make it electric. Have a generator outside.
The best option is to purchase a mining claim and just get a federal explosives license and blast a hole in a mountain.
How hard is it to get an explosives license? easier or harder than regular ATF forms?

The dug-outs are cut-and-cover tunnels.

If you want a space more than a person wide, you should find what unsupported span your material can tolerate, especially if it rains.
>>30311344
Get all the 2x4s and make really basic supports for the tunnels, use something proportionally stronger for rooms. Us a pulley system for the cart especially if you can make rails. I'd make a viet cong tunnel rather than any kind of mine shaft, but that is justa practicality thing. Just don't go all Chile on us. No one will come looking.

I wouldn't jump straight to tunnel. Examine how bunkers are constructed so as to figure out how to keep dirt from collapsing and killing you. Dirt is heavier than fuck, and knowing how to disperse that weight is huge.
Also read up on how cartels and/or the viet cong do it, they've got some fucking long complexes that would be a perfect example.

Oh wow! That I've not seen before. Any idea if there is about a 20mb one I can download and print one the 36" wide plotter at work?

Were still doing this? Also holy fuck my original thread shit>>30311359 i had to stop for a while cause i got a rash from salamanders
>>30315574
I just now learned about this, from this thread. I love this. I'm not sure how I'd be able to dig since this SC clay is so hard.. at least collapse will be less of a threat
>>30315574
At least you're didn't get it as bad as they guy who got leprosy from eating armadillos.

Use a pick axe

In some of the longer-lasting German positions the trenches were deep as all hell and had huge tunnel networks and dug-out rooms

I like how hell is directly underneath the top soil.

On transport, it's probably best to stick to something human powered.
At least until you need some Metro 2033 shit.

Is the autistic kid still digging?
