Not bad, they aren't intimidating visually but they are protective so they should let you know if someone is around and they are heavier than you would expect, if they attack someone it will cause them damage
The main purpose of a guard dog isn't to attack people so I would say they are decent
Corgi owner here. Corgis are awesome dogs. They are great companions, very intelligent, very friendly, great at hearding ect.
However aside from barking and alerting you to an intruder they wont be able to defend shit. Theyre too stumpy. If you want a dog thatll kick some serious ass get a german sheppard.
Basically 99.999999% of dogs won't do anything to an intruder besides possibly barking. People saying their dog will tear someone a new asshole are kidding themselves. Even if the dog is aggressive around its owner.
The only good protection dogs is one that has been trained in that role or one that is basically unusable outside of commercial businesses ala "junkyard dogs." The latter of which is even less predictable performance wise.

It's a good alarm, however like most alarms 99% of the time it's going to be going off for no reason. You also have to train this alarm and bear with it shitting, pissing, and barfing all over your house. Your alarm also may or may not bite little kids in the neighborhood if it gets out.
Note: your alarm will not work while you're on vacation when you need it most, because you constantly have to feed and water this alarm, and nor with the cheap shit, the organic expensive dog cereal or else it will shit on your carpet even more.
